Seffner, FL – Fatal Hit-and-Run on US-92 Kills Bicyclist

Seffner, FL (December 22, 2025) – A fatal hit-and-run crash claimed the life of a 38-year-old bicyclist on US-92 in Seffner on Saturday night, December 20. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the victim, a Nicaraguan national, was riding westbound when an unknown vehicle veered onto the shoulder near Mobile Villa Drive and struck him. The impact proved fatal, and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators believe the suspect vehicle may be a silver or dark-colored mid-sized SUV that fled the area following the crash. The roadway remained partially closed as FHP officers conducted a detailed investigation and searched for evidence. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
